About Hypnobirthing with Jess

Our Mission

At Hypnobirthing with Jess, we are committed to providing expectant parents with the resources, knowledge, tools, support and preparation to have a positive and empowered birth - regardless of how your baby comes into the world. We do this by teaching relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to manage pain and discomfort.

Our mission is to empower parents to make informed choices through their pregnancy and birth based on evidence-based information while creating a community where they can connect and learn from each other.

Classes run fortnightly at “The Midwives’ House” in Thornbury.

Hypnobirthing with Jess - Your Partner in Parenthood

The positive birth program - Full group course $500

This 12 hour program runs over two 6 hour days. During this class, you and your birth partner will enjoy a comprehensive training, in a supportive group setting. This course is run at The Midwives' House in Thornbury or in Somerville.

The program is divided into four units:

Unit 1: Creating and maintaining a positive mindset.

Unit 2: Our toolkit for birth.

Unit 3: Preparation and choices for empowered birth.

Unit 4: Birth - bringing it all together.

The positive birth program - full private course $600

This 12 hour program runs over two 6 hour days. During this class, you and your birth partner will enjoy a comprehensive training, in a 1:1 setting. This course can be run at The Midwives' House in Thornbury, or in Somerville, or in your home (subject to safety check to ensure the safety of the child birth educator).

The program is divided into four units:

Unit 1: Creating and maintaining a positive mindset.

Unit 2: Our toolkit for birth.

Unit 3: Preparation and choices for empowered birth.

Unit 4: Birth - bringing it all together.

The positive birth program - Half group/half private course $550

This 12 hour program runs over two 6 hour days. During this class, you and your birth partner will enjoy a comprehensive training. 6 hours will be in a group setting and 6 hours

in a 1:1 setting.

This is a good option if you and your birth partner can only attend part of the group course. You can join the group course for half of the course and then complete the other half in a private session.

This course can be run at The Midwives' House in Thornbury, or in Somerville, or in your home (subject to safety check to ensure the safety of the child birth educator).

The program is divided into four units:

This is a 3 hour course which is run privately for parents who have attended a Hypnobirthing Australia/Hypnobubs full course or online course previously.

the positive birth program - intensive course- 6 hours $550

This course is only available in extenuating circumstances.

the positive caesarean birth - 4 hours private session $395

This course is offered online for birthing people and their partners who are planning on having a Caesarean or want to be more empowered and educated in the case of an unplanned caesarean section.

hypnobubs online course - private session upgrade package (90min) $349

This course is perfect for those who have already purchaced the online course. You will be able to have a 90 minute private session (either in person or via video conference).

hypnobubs online course - with 3 hours of sessions package $499

This course is perfect for those who have already purchaced the online course. You will be able to have a 3 hour private session (either in person or via video conference).
